All Season Peach Pie

Ingredientes

  • Unbaked 9" pie shell
  • 2 x (1 lb.) cans peaches, well liquid removed (halves, sliced or possibly minced)
  • 1/3 c. sugar (use 1/2 c. if using fresh peaches)
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c. heavy cream
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla Whipped cream

Direcciones

  1. Arrange peaches in bottom of pie shell (if using halves arrange cut side up). Combine sugar, cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, salt, cream and vanilla.
  2. Pour over peaches in shell; sprinkle with remaining nutmeg. Bake at 400'F for 40 min of peaches are tender. Serve with whipped cream.
