Ingredientes

  • 2 med Onions, Cut In Half And Thinly Sliced
  • 2 x Leeks, Washed And Thinly (2 to 3) Sliced, white part only
  • 2 bn Scallions, minced
  • 2 x Cloves Garlic, crushed (2 to 3)
  • 2 tsp Chopped Fresh Ginger
  • 9 c. Water
  • 1/4 c. Soy Sauce Freshly Grnd Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 pch Grnd Cayenne

Direcciones

  1. Place the onions, leeks, scallions,garlic, and ginger in a large soup pot with 1 c. of the water. Cook, stirring over medium heat for 5 min. Add in the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for another 55 min to allow flavors to blend.
  2. Variation: For a heartier soup, add in 2 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks, when you add in the remaining ingredients.
