Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 env gelatin
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
  • 3 c. Water
  • 4 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Almond extract

Direcciones

  1. Add in unflavored gelatin to cool water to soften.
  2. Heat, but don't boil, evaporated lowfat milk and remaining water. Stir in sugar to dissolve.
  3. Slowly add in the softened gelatin and cook, stirring, over low heat to dissolve completely.
  4. Let cold slightly; then stir in almond extract. Pour into a shallow pan and chill. Cut up and serve with the sweetened water and fruit garnish as in "Almond Float #1". VARIATION: For the evaporated lowfat milk and water, substitute 4 c. whole lowfat milk. Or possibly else, substitute 1/2 c. condensed lowfat milk; increase the water in step 2 to 4 c. and omit the sugar.
