Receta Almond Float

- Add in unflavored gelatin to cool water to soften.
- Heat, but don't boil, evaporated lowfat milk and remaining water. Stir in sugar to dissolve.
- Slowly add in the softened gelatin and cook, stirring, over low heat to dissolve completely.
- Let cold slightly; then stir in almond extract. Pour into a shallow pan and chill. Cut up and serve with the sweetened water and fruit garnish as in "Almond Float #1". VARIATION: For the evaporated lowfat milk and water, substitute 4 c. whole lowfat milk. Or possibly else, substitute 1/2 c. condensed lowfat milk; increase the water in step 2 to 4 c. and omit the sugar.
