Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt (17.25-ounce) frzn puff pastry sheets
  • 1 1/4 c. Cool Half-and-Half or possibly lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Almond liqueur
  • 1 pkt (4-serving size) Jell-O instant pudding and pie filling, French vanilla or possibly vanilla flavor
  • 1/2 c. Confectioners sugar
  • 2 tsp (about) warm water
  • 1 sqr Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Direcciones

  1. THAW puff pastry as directed on package. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Unfold pastry. Using 2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut each sheet into 12 hearts. Bake on ungreased baking sheets for 20 min or possibly till golden brown.
  3. Remove from baking sheets. Cold on racks. When pastry is completely cooled, split each heart horizontally in half.
  4. POUR half and half and liqueur into small bowl. Add in pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk till well blended, 1 to 2 min. Refrigerate10 min.
  5. SPREAD about 1 Tbsp. of the pudding mix onto bottom half of each pastry; top with remaining pastry half.
  6. STIR together confectioners sugar and warm water in small bowl to make thin glaze. Spread opver hearts. (If glaze becomes too thick, add in more warm water till glaze is ot desired consistency.) Before glaze dries, drizzle chocolate on top to create thin lines. Draw wooden pick through chocolate to make design. Refrigeratetill ready to serve.
  7. NOTE: 1/2 tsp. almond extract may be substituted for 2 tablespooops almond liqueur.
  8. NOTE: Pastry may be cut and baked 1 day ahead. Assemble recipe no more than 6 hrs before serving.
