Ingredientes

  • 4 c. lowfat milk or possibly light cream
  • 2 Tbsp. long grain rice
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cardamom
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. minced toasted almonds or possibly minced pistachio nuts
  • 2 tsp rose water (optional)
  • 12 x fresh strawberries

Direcciones

  1. In a heavy 3-qt saucepan, combine lowfat milk or possibly cream, rice and cardamom. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat. Cook, uncovered over low heat, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour or possibly till lowfat milk mix is reduced to about 2 c.. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in sugar and minced almonds or possibly pistachio nuts, continue stirring till sugar has dissolved. Cold 30 min; stir pudding. Stir in rose water, if used.
  3. Spoon mix into 4 to 6 sherbet or possibly dessert dishes. Refrigeratein refrigerator To serve, sprinkle with grnd nutmeg and garnish each serving with 2 strawberries.
  4. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
