Ingredientes

  • 1 c. All purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. White sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/2 c. Buttermilk or possibly plain lowfat milk with 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 c. Melted butter
  • 3/4 c. Sliced almonds, (reserve)
  • 2/3 c. White sugar
  • 1/3 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Amaretto or possibly, (1/2 tsp extract)

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking pwdr, baking soda, salt, egg, lowfat milk, vanilla and butter. Spread in greased 9" spring form pan. Bake 35 mm. till lightly browned.
  3. Prick top of cake with fork. Top with almonds.
  4. Combine sugar, water and Amaretto in saucepan. Boil one minute. Pour over cake.
  5. Place 6" under broiler till almonds are browned. Be Careful!! Will brown quickly.
