Amaretto-Coffee Coolers

I'm especially pleased with this one because it tasted exactly as I hoped--the perfect antidote for a hot summer night. If you’re not a fan of amaretto, substitute whatever liqueur you prefer, or leave it out entirely.

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 Gallon French Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 1/2 Cups Cold Strong Coffee
  • 1/2 Cup Amaretto Liqueur
  • Garnish:
  • 1/2 Cup Whipping Cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Granulated Sugar
  • Shaved Semi-Sweet Chocolate, Chocolate Jimmies, or Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Direcciones

  1. Blend ice cream and coffee in blender until smooth. Add amaretto; blend to combine.
  2. Beat cream and sugar in medium bowl at medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Pour ice cream mixture into glasses; top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate.
  4. Yield: 6 Cups
