Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. mashed potatoes
  • 2 c. scalded lowfat milk
  • 2 cakes yeast
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Direcciones

  1. Blend shortening into sifted dry ingredients. Put together egg yolks with potatoes. Add in to dry ingredients. Add in yeast to cooled lowfat milk. Gradually blend into other mix. Let rise for 40 min. Cut and let rise again. Roll dough 3/8-inch thick. Fry in hot fat. Glaze.
  2. Add in 3 tbsp water to 1 cup powdered sugar. Dip donuts into mix.
