Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Flour all-purpose
  • 1 c. Hot water
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Yeast
  • 2/3 c. Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Flour all-purpose
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 c. Nuts, and raisins mixed
  • 1/3 c. Melted butter
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar packed
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. Oats, quick-cooking
  • 1/2 c. Nuts, optional

Direcciones

  1. Starter: mix all ingredients in a glass bowl. Cover loosely with lid or possibly plate. Let stand in a hot place. Stir each day. On the 5th and 10th days add in 1 c. flour, 1 c. lowfat milk and 1 c. sugar. Then remove 2 c. starter for restarting. (Keep 1 c. for yourself and give 1 c. to a friend.) To the remainder combine all batter ingredients, mixing well. Pour half the batter into two greased and floured loaf pans (or possibly one 9x13 pan). Mix streusel topping and pour half of it over the batter. Add in the remaining batter, then the remaining streusel and bake at 350 for 40-50 min till the cake tests done.
