Ingredientes

  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. softened margarine or possibly butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp crushed anise seed
  • 1/3 c. minced pecans
  • 1/2 pkt dry active yeast
  • 1/2 c. hot water

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch and salt. Cream butter and shortening, add in sugar. Fold in with flour mix, add in anise and pecans. Dissolve yeast in hot water proportionately. Preheat oven to 350*. Blend dissolved yeast to flour mix to make a soft dough. Form dough into a roll and cut in half. Cut 12 cookies from each roll. Round cookies out and flatten a bit. Bake for 20-25 min.

  3. Barb Says: These are another one of my Dad's favorites. My Mom loves Pecans but will not touch these because of the anise in them. Black licorice lovers will enjoy these. Put them in baggies and tie with a pretty bow for CHRISTmas giving!
