Ingredientes

  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. Chicken soup stock, or possibly Canned chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame seed oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry sherry, gin or possibly vodka, Optional
  • 1 lb Grnd chuck, sirloin or possibly Beef stew
  • 3 c. Fried cellophane noodles
  • 3 Tbsp. Corn, vegetable or possibly Safflower oil
  • 1 tsp Chopped fresh garlic Or possibly
  • 2 lrg Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh scallions Or possibly
  • 1 x Scallion with green top, Diced
  • 3 c. Oil
  • 2 ounce Cellophane noodles

Direcciones

  1. Before you start:Mix binder ingredients in c. or possibly small bowl till smooth.Set aside.Mix marinade ingredients together in medium bowl till smooth.
  2. Add in beef to marinade in bowl and blend well.Set aside.
  3. Spread fried cellophane noodles proportionately on serving platter.
  4. Heat skillet or possibly wok on high for 30 seconds.Add in oil and swirl to coat skillet for 30 seconds longer.Add in garlic.Stir fry for 15 seconds. Add in beef and marinade.Stir fry for 2 min,till beef loses its pink color.
  5. Add in binder to beef in skillet and blend well.Cook 1 minute.
  6. Spoon cooked beef proportionately over noodles.Garnish with scallions sprinkled on top. Serve warm with rice and salad or possibly vegetable of your choice.
  7. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
  8. Noodles:
  9. Heat 3 c. of corn,vegetable or possibly safflower oil almost to smoking, about 375 degrees.
  10. Unwrap and drop in one package (2 ounce.)
  11. cellophane noodles.
  12. Within 3 seconds,the noodles will puff up and turn white and crunchy.
  13. With slotted spoon or possibly wire mesh strainer,turn noodles over and deep fry for several seconds.
  14. Remove from warm oil and drain on paper towels. May be stored in a tightly covered container for about a week.
  15. Makes 5 c. fried noodles.
