Ingredientes

  • 1 x 16 ounce. conta cottage cheese
  • 1 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 4 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 lb Wide egg noodles, cooked and liquid removed
  • 2 x Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 c. Dry cherries
  • 1/2 c. Minced hazelnuts
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 1 c. Corn flake crumbs
  • 1/3 c. Brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter, melted

Direcciones

  1. In a large bowl whisk together the cottage cheese, lowfat sour cream, sugar, Large eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and lowfat milk. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, toss together the cooked noodles, apples, dry cherries and hazelnuts. Add in the cottage cheese mix to the noodle mix and mix well.
  3. Pour the melted butter into a 9x13 baking dish. Brush the butter onto the bottom and sides of the pan. Pour the prepared mix into the pan.
  4. For the topping, combine the corn flake crumbs and brown sugar.
  5. Sprinkle the mix proportionately over the kugel. Finally, pour the melted butter proportionately over the topping. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350 for 30 min. Uncover and bake 25-30 min longer or possibly till golden brown and set.
