Ingredientes

  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 2/3 c. Wheat germ
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg
  • 1/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine, cool
  • 1 lrg Tart apples, peeled and chop ped
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Honey Topping
  • 2 tsp Wheat germ
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cinnamon

  1. In a large bowl, combineflour,wheat germ, baking pwdr, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and nutmeg.
  2. Cut in the butter till the mix resembles coarse crumbs. combine the apple, lowfat milk and honey; add in to dry ingredients just till moistened. Turn onto a floured surfac, knead gently 5-6 times. Gently patt dough into a 9-in. circle, 1/2 in. thick. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over dough. Cut into eight wedges and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 min.
