Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 3/4 c. Veg. oil
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1 c. Black walnuts, minced
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 dsh Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 c. Unpeeled minced apple
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 lb Confectioner's sugar

Direcciones

  1. Mix sugar and oil. Add in Large eggs, beat till fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together and add in to sugra, oil, and egg mix. Blend in vanilla. mix in black walnuts and minced apples. Pour into a well greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 F for 40 min. ICING: Soften butter and blend with powdered sugar. Add in vanilla. Use cream to blend to a spreadable consistency. Spread on cake.
  2. NOTE: For holiday gift giving, I like to bake this recipe in four miniature loaf pans, wrap in plastic wrap, and tie with a bow. This is nice with a c. of warm tea. Happy cooking. Margaret
