Receta Apple Butter-Crockpot
Apple Butter-Crockpot
My Youngest has been clammoring for apple butter! We have tried several different ones at the store and none compare to one that his friend’s Grandpa makes. So what’s a food blogger to do?? Make some apple butter, of course. I found this recipe on line a few years back, changed it up a bit, and it was quite a success, so says the Youngest, and since it’s almost apple season, apples should be plentiful!
Apple Butter in the Crockpot
INGREDIENTS:
- 1- 28 ounce jar unsweetend applesauce
- 4-5 granny smith apples- peeled and diced small
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS:
Plaace all ingredietns in the crock pot and stir. Cover and cook on low overnight or 8 to 10 hours. Remove the lid and turn the crockpot on high and cook, uncovered for 3-4 hours. The liquid will cook off and the apple butter will cook down. Pour into jars or Tupperware to store.
