Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. APPLE & CINNAMON MALT-O-MEAL, uncooked
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. Buttermilk or possibly sour lowfat milk*
  • 1/2 c. Applesauce
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil

Direcciones

  1. Heat griddle to 375 F. In large mixing bowl, combine flour, cereal, sugar, baking pwdr, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; mix well. Add in remaining ingredients, stir till moistened and batter is smooth.
  2. For each pancake, pour 1/4 c. batter onto warm griddle. Bake about 1 minute; turn and continue baking about 1 minute more.
  3. YIELD: 16 4-inch pancakes
  4. One and one-half Tbsp. lemon juice or possibly vinegar plus lowfat milk to equal 1 1/2 c. can be substituted for buttermilk.
