%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20when%20the%20kind%20folks%20from%20Rhodes%20bread%20contacted%20me%20and%20asked%20me%20to%20repost%20it,%20I%20gladly%20obliged.%20%20In%20fact,%20I%20even%20remade%20the%20bread%20actually%20using%20their%20frozen%20white%20dinner%20rolls.%20(When%20I%20first%20blogged%20about%20it%20in%202011,%20I%20made%20my%20own%20dough).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20this%20recipe%20takes%20a%20bit%20of%20time%20to%20prepare%20(thawing%20dough,%20letting%20it%20rise,%20etc.),%20it%20is%20SO%20WORTH%20IT.%20%20I%20have%20prepared%20the%20loaf%20the%20night%20before%20and%20simply%20warmed%20it%20in%20the%20oven%20before%20serving%20the%20next%20morning%20for%20breakfast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlease%20note:%20%20choosing%20a%20baking%20pan%20is%20very%20important%20in%20this%20recipe.%20%20If%20you%20use%20a%209%22%20x%205%22%20loaf%20pan,%20just%20be%20aware%20that%20this%20dough%20will%20rise%20to%20great%20heights.%20%20I%20like%20it%20as%20such%20because%20I%20think%20it's%20gorgeous%20when%20turned%20out%20on%20a%20serving%20platter.%20%20However,%20PLACE%20THE%20LOAF%20ON%20A%20BAKING%20SHEET%20WHILE%20IT'S%20IN%20THE%20OVEN,%20otherwise%20it%20will%20spill%20over%20and%20make%20your%20oven%20smokey%20and%20your%20kitchen%20stinky.%20%20%20Some%20of%20my%20fabulous%20readers%20have%20suggested%20using%20a%20Bundt%20or%20tube%20cake%20pan.%20%20Both%20of%20these%20were%20great%20options;%20you%20will%20just%20need%20to%20adjust%20the%20baking%20time%20(remember:%20%20smaller%20pan%20=%20increased%20baking%20time;%20larger%20pan%20=%20slightly%20decreased%20baking%20time.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20how%20to%20make%20it:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThaw%2016%20Rhodes%20frozen%20rolls.%20%20(At%20room%20temperature,%20this%20takes%20about%204-5%20hours,%20although%20there%20is%20a%20%22quick-thaw%20method%22%20on%20the%20package%20instructions...).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20a%20mixture%20of%20chopped%20Granny%20Smith%20apples,%20cinnamon,%20pecans,%20brown%20sugar,%20and%20lemon%20juice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECut%20each%20dough%20ball%20in%20half.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFlatten%20dough%20into%20a%20circle,%20add%20a%20teaspoon%20of%20the%20apple%20mixture%20to%20the%20center%20of%20the%20circle.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFold%20up%20the%20edges%20and%20pinch%20them%20together,%20sealing%20it%20like%20a%20little%20dumpling.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToss%20it%20in%20a%20greased%20loaf%20pan%20(or%20bundt%20pan...see%20note%20above!).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERepeat.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20all%20filled%20dough-balls%20to%20the%20baking%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETop%20with%20remaining%20apple-pecan%20mixture,%20loosely%20cover%20with%20greased%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eplastic%20wrap,%20and%20let%20it%20rise%20in%20a%20warm%20place%20until%20double%20(about%20an%20hour).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20loaf%20pan%20ON%20A%20BAKING%20SHEET,%20remove%20plastic%20wrap,%20and%20bake%20for%2040-50%20minutes%20(again,%20the%20baking%20time%20depends%20on%20the%20pan%20you%20decided%20to%20use).%20%20Cover%20with%20foil%20for%20the%20last%2010%20minutes%20to%20prevent%20over-browning.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAllow%20bread%20to%20cool%20for%2010-20%20minutes%20in%20the%20pan.%20%20Then%20loosen%20edges%20and%20remove%20loaf%20from%20pan,%20transferring%20to%20a%20serving%20platter.%20%20Drizzle%20with%20icing,%20if%20desired.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20warm.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEnjoy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemember:%20%20to%20bake%20this%20loaf,%20you%20can%20use%20either%20a%209%20x%205%22%20loaf%20pan%20or%20a%20well-greased%20Bundt%20pan.%20%20This%20bread%20will%20rise%20to%20a%20lovely%20height%20in%20a%20loaf%20pan,%20so%20please%20be%20sure%20to%20set%20a%20baking%20sheet%20beneath%20the%20loaf%20pan%20to%20prevent%20apple%20and%20pecan%20bits%20from%20landing%20on%20the%20floor%20of%20your%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eedges%20together%20to%20seal,%20forming%20a%20ball.%20Place%20filled%20balls%20in%20a%20sprayed%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E9x5-inch%20loaf%20pan%20(or%20use%20greased%20Bundt%20pan).%20%20Spoon%20remaining%20apple%20mixture%20evenly%20over%20the%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECover%20loosely%20with%20greased%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20let%20rise%20until%20double.%20Remove%20wrap,%20place%20loaf%20pan%20on%20a%20baking%20sheet%20to%20catch%20any%20spill-over,%20and%20bake%20at%20350%C2%B0F%2040-50%20minutes.%20Cover%20loaf%20with%20foil%20last%2010%20minutes%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebaking%20to%20prevent%20over-browning.%20Cool%20for%2010-20%20minutes.%20%20Use%20a%20knife%20to%20gently%20loosen%20bread%20from%20the%20edge%20of%20the%20pan,%20then%20remove%20loaf%20from%20pan%20transfer%20bread%20to%20a%20serving%20platter.%20%20Combine%20icing%20ingredients,%20and%20drizzle%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eover%20warm%20loaf.%20%20Serve%20warm,%20if%20desired.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERecipe%20slightly%20modified%20from%20here.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
