Receta Apple – Corn Salad
Here is a simple but wholesome salad perfect for salad lovers. When I was making this salad I wondered how the combo of apple + corn would taste together. But it tasted so delicious and I felt so happy and filling after I finished it.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Corn (I used frozen)
- 1 cup Green Peas (I used frozen)
- 1 cup finely chopped or shredded Lettuce
- 1 Apple
- ½ tsp Chaat Masala
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- Salt
Preparation:
Combine corn and green peas in a microwave safe bowl, cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Peel, core and dice apple into bite sized pieces.
Later take a mixing bowl and combine cooked corn – green pea mixture + chopped apple + lettuce + chaat masala + black pepper powder and mix well with a spatula or just toss.
Finally add lemon juice and salt and toss again. Enjoy this yummy and healthy salad with lunch or dinner.
