Receta Apple Fries
This month THE LADY BEHIND THE CURTAIN DESSERT CHALLENGE INGREDIENTS ARE “APPLES and CINNAMON”. I’m so happy you came over to see what’s happening.
I love participating in her two ingredient dessert challenges. Especially since I try so hard to healthify recipes.
I am calling these Apple Fries. Break out of tradition and serve these with chicken for a great side dish instead of serving them as a dessert.
These are easy to make and a great after school snack too.
Apple Fries

Serves: 2
- ½ cup apple cider
- 2 teaspoons butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar blend
- 2 tart but firm apples, peeled, cored and cut into sticks
Preheat oven to 400 F.
In a bowl, add the cider and butter.
In bowl, toss apples with 2 Tablespoons of the glaze.
Arrange in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
Roast for 5 minutes. drizzle apples with remaining glaze
Turn the apple fries over and continue to roast for 5 minutes to let the apples finish caramelizing.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
Enjoy.
