Ingredientes

  • 1 x Egg -- lightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. Flour
  • 1 c. Powdered Sugar
  • 6 med Apples -- or possibly bananas Veg. oil (to fry fritters in)

Direcciones

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg, salt, baking pwdr, lowfat milk and flour to make a batter; mix well. Pour at least 1" of vegetable oil into a deep pan or possibly deep fryer and heat till 375 - 400 degrees F. Meanwhile, slice fruit and set aside. Dip sliced fruit into the batter and deep fry in the oil till it rises to the top. Roll warm fritters in powdered sugar and set aside to cold.
