Ingredientes

  • 1 x Yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c. Butter, softened
  • 1 can (20-oz) pie apples, liquid removed
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 x Egg yolks
  • 1 c. Lowfat sour cream

  2. Personal comment: I grew up not far away from the Pennsylvania Dutch and when I found these recipes. I hope someone else out there will also be interested...
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut butter into dry cake mix till crumbly.
  4. Pat mix lightly into ungreased 13" x 9" x 2" pan, building up slightly at edges. Bake 10 min. Arrange apple slices on hot crust. Sprinkle cinnamon on apples. Blend lowfat sour cream and egg yolks and drizzle over apples.
  5. Bake 25 min or possibly till apples are lightly browned. Serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  6. Yield: Servings determined by package of cake mix.
