Ingredientes

  • 3 quart finely minced apples - (abt 6 lbs)
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 1 c. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pot. Bring slowly to a boil. Cook rapidly to jellying point. As mix thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.
  2. Pour warm into warm jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space. Adjust caps. Process 10 min in boiling water bath.
  3. This recipe yields about 8 half-pints.
  4. Yield: 8 half-pints
