Ingredientes

  • 3 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 c. Margarine
  • 2 c. Oatbran
  • 2 x Golden brown Delicious apples, grated with skin
  • 2/3 c. Currants
  • 3/4 c. 2 % lowfat milk
  • 4 x Egg whites

Direcciones

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking pwdr and cinnamon. Use two knives to cut margarine into a dry mix till crumbly. Stir in oatbran, grated apple, and currants. In a measuring c., whisk together 4 egg whites with lowfat milk. Mix egg mix into oatbran mix till moistened. Grease large cookie sheet and spread dough so which it is approximately 1 inch thick, 9 inches wide and 15 inches long.
  2. Score the dough into at least 18 squares. Bake at 375 deg F for 25-30 min. Best served hot with jam.
