%20may%20not%20go%20all%20that%20well%20with%20an%20apple%20theme.%20But,%20I%20did%20have%20plenty%20more%20apples%20and,%20upon%20imagining%20how%20the%20combination%20of%20egg%20and%20apple%20might%20taste,%20I%20figured%20I%20would%20give%20it%20a%20try.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20usual,%20I%20started%20the%20chopped%20onion%20in%20olive%20oil%20and%20sauteed%20on%20low%20until%20somewhat%20soft,%20then%20put%20my%20usual%208-10%20turns%20of%20ground%20black%20pepper%20and%20a%20tablespoon%20or%20two%20of%20chopped%20fresh%20parsley%20in%20to%20cook%20for%20a%20bit%20before%20adding%20thinly%20sliced%20apple%20pieces.%20%20Once%20all%20was%20soft%20but%20not%20totally%20mushy,%20I%20removed%20the%20mix%20from%20the%20pan%20and%20went%20on%20with%20my%20usual%20omelette%20preparation,%20adding%20the%20onion/apple%20mix%20and%20then%20grated%20sharp%20cheddar%20cheese%20before%20the%20final%20fold.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20omelette%20with%20multigrain%20bread%20from%20Mamadou%E2%80%99s%20Artisan%20Bakery%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20a%20great%20flavor%20combo!%20And,%20the%20toasted%20multi-grain%20bread%20from%20Mamadou%E2%80%99s%20Artisan%20Bakery%20was%20the%20perfect%20accompaniment.%20It%20certainly%20did%20not%20hurt%20that%20the%20eggs%20were%20from%20Copicut%20Farms%20and%20the%20apple%20from%20Farmer%20Dave,%20but,%20whatever%20the%20source,%20I%20am%20going%20to%20keep%20apple%20omelettes%20in%20my%20repertoire,%20that%E2%80%99s%20for%20sure!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
