Ingredientes

  • 2 lrg Unpeeled baking apples, cored and quartered
  • 1 lrg Orange, unpeeled, quartered
  • 1 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 2/3 c. Shortening
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 4 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Lemon extract
  • 4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2/3 c. Orange juice
  • 1 c. Walnuts, minced

Direcciones

  1. In blender or possibly food processor, process apples, oranges and raisins till finely minced, set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition; beat till light and fluffy. Beat in extract. Combine dry ingredients; add in to creamed mix alternately with orange juice. Stir in fruit mix and nuts. Pour into 3 greased 8" X 4" loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees doe 50-55 min. or possibly till a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cold in pans for 10 min before removing to wire racks to cold completely.
