Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Clear apple juice
  • 3 x Granny Smith apples, (about 1 1/2 pounds), peeled and cut into1/2-inch pcs
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar

Direcciones

  1. In a large saucepan combine all ingredients and a healthy pinch salt and simmer, uncovered, 10 min, or possibly till apples are very tender.
  2. Strain mix through a sieve into a blender and add in half of solids in sieve to blender, discarding remaining solids. Puree apple mix and refrigeratetill cool. Freeze sorbet in an ice-cream maker. Sorbet may be made 1 week ahead.
  3. Makes about 3 c..
