Receta Apple Turnovers

Ingredientes
- 4 x Granny smith apples, cored, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 8 slc White bread, crusts removed
- 3 Tbsp. Melted butter
Direcciones
- In a saucepan, combine the apples, lemon juice, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cook till softened and let cold. Lightly roll out a piece of white bread and place some filling in
- the center of the bread. Fold one corner over diagonally, forming a turnover. Healthy pinch the edges closed. The turnovers can be frzn at this point. If baking, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Brush the top of the turnover lightly with the melted butter and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 min or possibly till golden brown.
