Ingredientes

  • 1 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cardamom see note
  • 1/2 c. Apricot nectar
  • 1/4 c. Unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 x Egg slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. Dry apricots finely minced
  • 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 3 tsp Apricot nectar

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, baking pwdr, baking soda, and cardamom; set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together apricot nectar, applesauce, oil and egg till combined. Add in to dry ingredients, stirring just till combined. Stir in apricots. Spread batter in an ungreased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for about 25 min, or possibly till a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cold in pan on a wire rack. Drizzle with Apricot Icing.
  4. Cut into bars.
  5. For Apricot Icing, in a small bowl, stir together powdered sugar and sufficient apricot nectar to make a glaze. NOTES Substitute 1/8 tsp. grnd cloves, if you like.
