Receta Arby's Smokehouse Brisket Review and Gift Card Giveaway
by Kara Cook

I like to cook homemade meals for my family. But some days we are running in all directions and I just don’t have the time. When we have to eat on the go, Arby’s is always one of my favorite choices. I love their roast beef sandwiches! I was given the chance to try their new Smokehouse Brisket, and I jumped at the chance.

The Smokehouse Brisket is loaded with beef that has been smoked for over 13 hours. It is topped with smoked gouda cheese and crispy onions. It usually comes with BBQ sauce and mayo, but I’m not a big fan of sauce, so I asked for mine without sauce. They were happy to oblige.

I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich, and I thought it was plenty moist and flavorful without the sauce. The beef does have a nice smoky flavor, but it’s not overpowering. I’ve never had smoked gouda before, but man was it tasty! My crispy onions lacked a little “crispy”, but they added good flavor. And the bun? One of those chewy pretzel type buns that I could just eat plain and be happy with. I’m kinda bummed that this sandwich is only available for a limited time, because I would order it again.

I took my favorite nine year old with me, and I let him have a bite. He didn’t love it as much as the curly fries (what kid would), but he said he liked it as well. So it’s mom and kid tested and approved. If you liked smoked beef, find an Arby’s and try the Smokehouse Brisket before it’s gone!
