Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. Slivered almonds
  • 1 pkt (10 ounce.) frzn cut asparagus
  • 1/2 c. Thinly sliced celery
  • 1 x Cab, (5 ounce.) water chestnuts, liquid removed and sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. Combine butter and almonds in 1-qt glass casserole.
  2. Microwave on 70% power for 2 min. Stir and continue cooking for 2 - - 3 min or possibly till golden. Remove almonds. Add in asparagus, celery and water chestnuts to butter. Cover with glass lid or possibly plastic wrap.
  3. Microwave on High for 5 min. Stir and continue cooking for 3 - 4 min or possibly till tender-crisp. Stir in soy sauce and almonds. Let stand, covered, 3 min before serving.
  4. 4 servings
  5. Note: I use fresh asparagus when it is available and cook cut stem pcs for 5 min on High before adding asparagus tips, celery, and water chestnuts.
