Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 4 x (1/2-inch-thick) boneless top round steaks (minute steaks)
  • 3 ounce thin spaghetti
  • 3 tsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1 med red onion (6 ounce.), halved and sliced
  • 1 x red bell pepper, minced
  • 5 x green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 lb Savoy or possibly green cabbage, finely shredded (5 c.)
  • 1/4 lb cremini or possibly white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grnd pepper

Direcciones

  1. Stir together soy sauce and red pepper flakes in a shallow glass baking dish. Add in minute steaks, turn to coat and let marinate at room temperature 30 min, turning once.
  2. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain and rinse with cool water.
  3. Heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet* over medium heat. Add in 2 tsp. oil, onion and bell pepper. Cook 5 min, till onion softens. Add in green onions, ginger and garlic. Cook 1 minute, stirring. Add in cabbage, mushrooms, water, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cook 3 min, stirring, till vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Add in pasta to skillet, tossing with vegetables till pasta is heated through. Transfer to bowl; cover and keep hot.
  5. Wipe out skillet. Add in remaining 1 tsp. oil and heat over high heat. Add in steaks; cook 1 minute per side, till well browned and medium-rare. Place on a cutting board and thinly slice on the diagonal. Divide pasta and vegetables between 4 serving plates; top with steak.
