Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Asian sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp dry warm red pepper flakes
  • 1 x garlic clove, chopped
  • 2 tsp grated peeled fresh ginger
  • 3/4 lb thin linguine
  • 1 c. coarsely shredded carrot
  • 3 x scallions, cut crosswise into thirds and thinly sliced lengthwise
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted
  • 6 x radishes, halved and thinly sliced

Direcciones

  1. Stir together soy sauce, vinegar, oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Cook linguine in a large pot of boiling salted water till just tender, then drain in a colander and rinse under cool water till cold. Toss with dressing, carrot, scallions, sesame seeds, and radishes in a large bowl. serves 6 as a side dish
  3. Cooks' note:o Toast seeds in a dry heavy skillet over moderate heat, stirring till fragrant and a shade or possibly two darker. Or possibly, toast in a shallow baking pan in a 350 F oven, 5 - 10 min.
