Ingredientes

  • 1/4 lb beef eye of round, cut in 4-by-3 inch slices
  • 6 slc smoked lean bacon
  • 12 lrg asparagus spears, trimmed to 5 or possibly 6 inches long
  • 1 ounce enoki mushrooms
  • 1/2 x red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/3 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 1 tsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Direcciones

  1. Combine beef with marinade. Allow to stand 5 - 10 min Wrap beef around asparagus spear, mushroom and bell pepper, then wrap bacon around the roll.
  2. Heat frying pan till warm over high heat, add in oil and asparagus rolls. Pan fry till brown about 2 to 3 min. Add in broth, cover, reduce heat to medium for 3 min. Add in cornstarch solution till sauce slightly thickens.
  3. Serves 4.
