Ingredientes

  • 2 lb (900 g) fresh asparagus, washed and trimmed
  • 4 Tbsp. (60 ml) butter
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) lemon juice Salt and freshly grnd pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Steam the asparagus till tender but crisp, about 10 min, and plunge into cool water to stop the cooking and set the color. Heat the butter in a small saucepan and stir in the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Refrigeratethe asparagus and pour the lemon butter over them prior to transporting.
  2. Serves 8 to 10.
