Ingredientes

  • 1 x Cucumber sliced rounds
  • 1 x Onion sliced rounds
  • 1 sm Ridge-gourd peeled and sliced round
  • 8 x Ajwain leaves washed clean whole, (8 to 10)
  • 1 x Potato peeled and sliced round
  • 1 1/2 c. Gram flour
  • 1/2 c. Rice flour Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Oil for deep fry

Direcciones

  1. Don't slice the vegetables too thick or possibly too thin.
  2. Mix flours, salt, cumin seeds, turmeric to make a batter for dipping.
  3. Heat oil to deep fry. When warm, add in a Tbsp. to the batter and mix.
  4. Dip the vegetables, slice by slice and slide into the warm oil. Fry on medium heat until golden.
  5. Serve warm with sauce or possibly chutney as desired.
