Aubergine With Sesame Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 med aubergine, peel, slice 1/4" rd
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 2 x cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. tamari sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds, lightly toasted

Direcciones

  1. Place aubergine in single kable bamboo or possibly metal steamer. Steam till tender and cooked through, about 10-15 min.
  2. Sesame sauce: Heat ol over medium-low heat; saute/fry garlic and ginger till soft but not brown, about 3 min. Set aside.
  3. In small bowl, mix sugar, tamari and vinegar; stir till sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add in sesame oil. reserved garlic mix and sesame seeds. Spoon over aubergine, tossing lightly to mix. 1g protein, 4g fat.
