Aunt Cissie's Banana Cream Pudding

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk, scalded
  • 2 x Large eggs separated
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Bananas Vanilla Wafers

Direcciones

  1. Put sugar, cornstarch, salt and 1-3/4 c. of lowfat milk in heavy sauce pan. Cook till hard. Add in egg yolks to remaining 1/4 c. of lowfat milk and mix well together. Add in to warm mix. Cook till Large eggs are done. Add in vanilla. Pour over crumbled vanilla wafers and sliced bananas. Cover with whole cookies.
  2. Cold and serve.
  3. Note: You have to stir this all the time it is cooking.
  4. This can be doubled if you want.
