Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb extra-lean grnd beef
  • 1 c. dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c. egg beaters(r) 99% egg substitute
  • 1/3 c. minced fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh onion
  • 1/3 c. ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 16 ounce jellied cranberry sauce
  • 12 ounce chili sauce parsley sprigs optional

Direcciones

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; shape mix into 30 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs.
  2. Combine ketchup, sugar, juice, and sauces in an electric slow cooker; gently stir in meatballs. Cover with lid; cook on low-heat setting for 8 to 10 hrs. Garnish with parsley, if you like.
  3. Yield: 10 servings (serving size: 3 meatballs and about 2 Tbsp. sauce).
  4. Notes: These meatballs are good served over egg noodles.
