Ingredientes

  • 1 c. cranberries
  • 2 x apples
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 6 ounce red gelatin
  • 15 ounce crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts
  • 2 c. boiling water

Direcciones

  1. Chop the cranberries, apples and celery into small pcs. Drain the pineapple and save juice. Combine cranberries, apples and sugar; cover and chill while preparing rest of salad. Combine gelatin with boiling water and stir till dissolved. Add in sufficient water or possibly fruit juice (apricot nectar, strawberry nectar etc.) to pineapple juice to equal 1 c.. Add in this to the gelatin mix. Refrigeratein refrigerator till slightly thickened. Combine the cranberry-apple mix with celery, liquid removed pineapple and nuts. Stir into gelatin mix. Pour into lightly greased mold or possibly into individual serving molds. Refrigeratetill hard. Un-mold and serve on a bed of lettuce or possibly garnish with lowfat sour cream or possibly slightly sweetened whipped cream and a very light sprinkling of cinnamon.
