Autumn Sour Cream Apple Cake

The perfect fall/winter cake. Easy to put together ingredients with wonderfully, moist results. Rather healthy with low sugar. Can dust it with confectioners sugar, serve with whipped cream, warm it and add ice cream or, go the more healthy route and my preference and eat it plain. Delish!

Ingredientes

  • 6 T. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 sour cream
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 l/2 t. baking soda
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • l/4 t ground cloves
  • l/4 t ground nutmeg
  • l/2 t. allspice
  • 1 - 2 l/4 c. clour
  • 1 c. finely chopped fresh apples (like gala or fuiji)
  • Optional: l/2 c. chopped nuts or raisins

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Add sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Sift baking soda, spices and flour together. Add to creamed mixture. (Batter will be fairly thick)
  5. Fold in chopped apples, nuts/raisins.
  6. Place in small greased andfloured bundt pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 m inutes until toothpick comes out clean. Do not overbake.
