Receta Baby Potato Masala
Ingredients:
- Baby Potatoes – 500 gms, peeled, boiled
- Tomato Paste – 1 cup
- Onions – 1 cup, finely chopped
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
- Vendhaya Keerai (Fenugreek Leaves) – 1 bunch, cleaned, chopped
- Cinnamon – 2
- Cloves – 2
- Cardamoms – 2
- Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Oil – 100 ml
- Butter – 50 gms
- Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Fry the cinnamons, cardamoms and cloves for 30 seconds.
3. Add the onions and saute well.
4. Add ginger garlic paste, tomato paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt.
5. Mix well.
6. Add the potatoes and little water.
7. Stir well until evenly combined.
8. Add kasuri methi, butter, fenugreek leaves and mix well.
9. Cook for a minute or two.
10. Add cumin powder and stir once or twice.
11. Remove and transfer to a serving bowl.
