%20here!%20It's%20probably%20one%20of%20the%20best-known%20sweets%20from%20this%20area%20of%20the%20world%20and%20quite%20rightly%20so,%20in%20my%20opinion!%20You%20should%20be%20able%20to%20obtain%20the%20sheets%20of%20filo%20pastry%20where%20you%20live%20-%20it's%20available%20in%20most%20parts%20of%20the%20world,%20I%20believe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreparation%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMelt%20the%20butter%20in%20a%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECut%20all%20the%20sheets%20of%20filo%20pastry%20into%20a%20circular%20shape%20to%20fit%20the%20round,%20medium-sized%20oven%20dish%20you%20will%20use.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EButter%20the%20oven%20dish%20and%20start%20placing%2020%20sheets%20of%20filo%20pastry%20individually,%20buttering%20each%20one%20as%20you%20do%20so.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20the%20cinnamon%20with%20the%20walnuts%20and%20add%20the%20mixture%20to%20the%20dish%20on%20top%20of%20the%2020%20filo%20sheets.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20other%2020%20sheets%20on%20top,%20again%20individually%20and%20buttering%20each%20one%20as%20you%20do%20so.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20dish%20in%20the%20fridge%20for%2010%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20you%20take%20it%20out,%20cut%20the%20baklava%20into%20diamond%20shapes%20(see%20photo)%20making%20sure%20you%20make%20the%20cuts%20right%20to%20the%20bottom.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpray%20it%20with%20water%20and%20bake%20it%20in%20a%20pre%20heated%20oven%20at%20150%20C%20for%2090%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20the%20baklava%20is%20baking,%20prepare%20the%20syrup.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%20all%20the%20ingredients%20for%20the%20syrup%20in%20a%20pan,%20bring%20to%20the%20boil%20and%20continue%20boiling%20for%203%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20you%20remove%20the%20baklava%20from%20the%20oven,%20pour%20the%20syrup%20evenly%20on%20top%20of%20it.%20This%20has%20to%20be%20done%20when%20both%20are%20still%20hot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEat%20and%20Enjoy!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
