Ingredientes

  • 6 x rashers bacon
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 3 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 x beaten egg
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon fat Or possibly melted butter
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 400F, prepare pans. Fry the bacon till crisp, drain & reserve the bacon fat, chop bacon. Stir together the flour, baking pwdr, sugar, salt & cheese. Mix the egg, lowfat milk & bacon fat or possibly butter. Add in the dry mix along with the bacon to the wet mix till just combined. Mix will be somewhat lumpy. Spoon into c. & bake for about 25 mins or possibly till done.
  2. Makes15 medium or possibly 12 large muffins.
