Bacon 'N' Egg Spinach Salad

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound fresh spinach
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 6 slices bacon, crisp-cooked, liquid removed and crumbled
  • 5 hard boiled large eggs, minced
  • 1 hard boiled egg, sliced

Direcciones

  1. Wash spinach thoroughly in warm water and drain. Refrigerate to crisp.2. Put together oil, sugar, vinegar, onion, salt and mustard. Beat or possibly whirl in blender till dressing becomes thick and syrupy and sugar is thoroughly dissolved.
  2. Tear spinach into bite-size portions; place in large salad bowl. Add in bacon and minced large eggs. Pour dressing over all; let stand about 1/2 hour.
  3. Toss to thoroughly mix salad. Garnish with egg slices.
