Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 c. Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Shortening
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 lrg Egg
  • 4 x Bacon slices

Direcciones

  1. Cook bacon till crisp; crumble and set aside.
  2. Blend Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise and paprika; set aside.
  3. Combine flour with baking pwdr and salt in large mixing bowl. Add in shortening and cut in with pastry blender till particles are fine.
  4. Combine lowfat milk and egg; add in all at once to the flour mix. Stir till dough clings together.
  5. Knead lightly on floured surface about 10 times. Divide dough in half. Roll out each half to a 14 x 6-inch rectangle. Transfer one rectangle to an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Spread with 1/2 c. cheese mix; sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Top with second rectangle. Cut through to the bottom, into 16 rectangles but don't separate. Spread with remaining cheese mix.
  7. Bake in preheated 400-degree oven for 12-15 min till golden.
  8. Serve while still hot.
