Receta Bacon Wrapped Chevre' Stuffed Chicken Breasts
This is one of my favorite ways to make chicken.
Boneless skinless chicken breasts stuffed with garlic and herb goat cheese and
Wrapped in bacon.....what's not to like!
Did I mention you make these tasty
Chicken Breasts in a slow cooker?
Even better~
Serve along side a bed of wild rice and your favorite steamed vegetable for a delicious meal.
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 oz fresh garlic and herb chevre' cheese log (Montchevre')
- 12 slices bacon
- 2 t everyday seasoning blend (Trader Joe's)
- Or seasoning blend of your choice
- Drizzle of honey
- Place goat cheese in a small bowl
- Begin to soften with a fork
- Set aside
- Pound chicken breasts to flatten
- Spread goat cheese over half of the chicken breasts
- Fold over
- Repeat with remaining cheese and chicken breasts
- Season with everyday seasoning blend
- Lay 3 slices of bacon on counter top
- Lay chicken breast on bacon slices
- Fold the bacon over the chicken
- Place wrapped chicken breast
- Seam side down in crock-pot
- Drizzle with honey
Cover, turn to low
Cook on low 4-5 hours
