Ingredientes

  • 6 c. sliced peeled tart apples (abt 4 apples) Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar - (packed) plus
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar - (packed)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. butter cut up, plus more for greasing pan
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal

Direcciones

  1. Toss together apples and lemon juice to coat slices. Stir in 2 Tbsp. brown sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Spoon apples into lightly buttered 8-inch-square baking dish.
  2. Combine flour, oatmeal, remaining brown sugar and cinnamon. Using your fingers, work butter into oat mix till proportionately blended. Spoon crunch topping proportionately over apples.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees till apples are tender and topping is lightly browned, about 30 min. Cold slightly, then serve.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
