Baked Brie with Honey & Almonds

It’s been quite some time since my last post. The reason isn’t for a lack of stories or recipes to share. I’ve just been a little busy.
The New Year came in like a lion with major changes to my personal life and new discoveries happening everyday professionally. I’m in the middle of moving to a new place, which makes cooking a little difficult with most of my equipment in boxes. Now that it’s nearly April, I’m hoping the lion will go back to his lair and let the lamb frolic for a bit.
With the spring holiday season coming up, I thought it was a perfect time to share a few recipes over the next few weeks that are perfect for entertaining. Truth be told, I first made this back in December and it’s still one of my favorites.
- Baked Brie with Honey & Almonds Author: Culinary Cory Recipe Type: Appetizers Serves: 4-6 people Ingredients
- 1 wheel of brie, about 12 oz. ¼ cup of honey ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds ¼ cup dried cranberries Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Place the brie in the center. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the center is oozy but not melted. Transfer the warm brie to a serving dish with a lip on the sides. Sprinkled the almonds and dried cranberries on top. Drizzle with honey. Serve immediately with crackers or slices of baguette. Author's Note Most recipes recommend baking the brie with the honey. I always found it burns in the oven. So I opted to drizzle the honey after baking. 3.2.2265
