Ingredientes

  • 1 x bone in fully cooked ham (12 lb.)
  • 1 c. brown sugar packed
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard Cloves optional
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine

Direcciones

  1. Place ham, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hrs 10 min per lb. to an internal temperature of 130 degrees. 1/2 hour before and of baking time, pour off drippings; remove any skin. Cut fat into diamond shapes. Insert cloves, if you like. Cover with glaze. Return ham to oven for 30 min. Remove and allow to rest 15 to 20 min for easier carving. Raisin Sauce: Mix brown sugar, mustard, and cornstarch. Add in water, vinegar, and raisins. Cook and stir till thick. Add in butter; blend.
