Baked Limas In Chili Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Dry lima beans
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 c. Chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Melted butter or possibly fat
  • 1 x Bay leaf

Direcciones

  1. Soak the beans overnight in water to cover. Drain. Add in fresh water to cover, and bring to a boil. Add in the salt and sugar. Cook over low heat 1 1/2 hrs. Drain.
  2. Combine the beans, chili sauce, butter or possibly fat and bay leaf in a baking dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven 1 hour. Remove bay leaf.
  3. Serves 6.
